For Warehouse & Logistics
Upload your system export and your physical count spreadsheet. Match rows by SKU — not position — and see every discrepancy highlighted. No VLOOKUPs, no manual hunting.

Use cases
Compare your system export against the manual count. Instantly see which SKUs don't match.
Catch quantity and price discrepancies before you approve payment. Upload both and get a clear diff.
Track which product codes changed after a catalog refresh. See additions, removals, and field changes.
Key feature
The key column selector lets you pick any column as the row identifier. Reordered rows still match correctly — no false positives from a sort change. Works with CSV and Excel (.xlsx and .xls).
Compare Files works entirely in your browser. There is no server that receives, processes, or stores your file data. Not because we promise not to look — but because we architecturally cannot. All comparison logic runs locally in JavaScript.
Why no AI
Compare Files uses a deterministic, logic-based engine — not a language model. It reads both files and reports every change that is actually there. It can’t summarize away a deleted line, invent a difference that isn’t in the file, or “mostly” get a number right. What you see is exactly what changed — nothing added, nothing missed. For inventory and shipment lists, that means no AI overlooking a changed quantity or SKU.
Your files never leave your device. Everything runs in your browser — no uploads, nothing stored.
No AI, so no hallucinations. A deterministic engine reports every real change and never invents one.
No upload, no server wait. Comparisons run locally and keep working offline once the page has loaded.
FAQ
Yes — select any column (such as SKU, barcode, or product ID) as the match key and the tool aligns rows by that identifier rather than their position in the file. A product added to one spreadsheet will not shift every row below it and produce hundreds of false mismatches.
It is flagged as a missing row and highlighted immediately, so you can see at a glance which products are present in one inventory count but absent from the other. This makes stocktake reconciliation and supplier catalog comparison significantly faster than doing it manually.
CSV and Excel (.xlsx and .xls) are both supported. Whether your warehouse management system exports CSV or your supplier sends an Excel catalog, you can upload either format directly without any conversion step.
No — all spreadsheet comparison happens entirely in your browser. SKU lists, stock counts, unit prices, and supplier data never leave your device and are never stored or transmitted to any server.
